LONDON (Dow Jones) - The FTSE 100 ahead by 0.4% to 6013.67 points on Monday at midday. Intertek, which accounts for 4.9%, still leads the index after the publication of its results and the announcement of an acquisition. It is followed by Burberry, which jumped by 3.7% due to supply rival LVMH on Bulgari. Fresnillo earns 2.5% thanks to rising gold prices. The increase in crude prices and concerns related to the situation in Libya, however, continue to influence on investor sentiment. Will Hedden, of IG Index, said it is very difficult to anticipate significant further progress in equity markets when such uncertainties persist with respect to crude prices and Libya. No major economic indicator is expected on Monday in the U.S..
