Apple launches iPhone 4S

Excluding autos, sales were up by 0.6% against 0.2% of consensus. In addition, sales in August have been reviewed up to 0.3% (0.5% excluding automobile).

The import prices in the U.S for September 2011 climbed by 0.3%  against a consensus of -0.3% and a decrease of -0.2% a month before (revised from -0.4 %). The export prices, meanwhile, rose 0.4% from the previous month.

The index of consumer sentiment from the University of Michigan for October will be announced soon(consensus 60.2). Business inventories for August will be announced also in a while (consensus 0.4%). Finally, the budget deficit will be revealed in September at 20 hours ($ 65 billion estimated).
