Google recorded a rise in revenues and profits in the third quarter of fiscal year

Google, the Californian leading of Internet advertising, has released its third quarter results. Its revenues were 9.72 billion dollars, up 33% year on year. The income excluding traffic acquisition costs ($ 2.2 billion) stand at 7.51 billion dollars, against $ 7.2 billion in consensus. The net result appears to 2.73 billion $ 2.17 billion against  a year before. EPS is thus $ 8.33, against $ 6.72 in Q3 2010. In non-GAAP EPS amounted to $ 9.72, against $ 8.74 consensus. Google said it had increased its workforce by 8.9% in three months, reaching the end of September, 31,353 employees across the world, and also displays a war chest of $ 42.6 billion! Finally, the social network 'Google +' now has 40 million users.
