American pharmaceutical chain based in Pennsylvania, Rite Aid, announced under its first quarter fiscal 2012 a net loss of $ 65.5 million or 7 cents a share against a deficit of $ 76 million or 9 cents per share a year earlier. Sales were stable at $ 6.4 billion (+0.8% at constant perimeter). Analysts on average expected a loss of 12 cents per share on revenues of $ 6.37 billion. The firm indicates expect a loss per share of between 42 and 64 cents for the full year 2012.
